- The ingredients.
- How light weight it is.
- The packaging and bottling {love all of Juice Beauty’s packaging}.
- The fact that I didn’t have a massive breakout when I made the switch.
What took some getting used to:
- While it’s definitely a foundation, it’s water-based and was a lighter coverage than I was using previously.
So, what’s a good foundation without a good loose powder?
The best match for me was the Refining Finishing Powder in ivory. {I know, shocker, right?}
There’s nothing I don’t like about this powder. It covers well, spreads lightly and secures the foundation as it should.
My most recent purchase is the SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer. {Again, in ivory.}
I have grown to love this moisturizer.
Note that it covers more like a sunscreen than a moisturizer. It’s thick and creamy with the slightest bit of tint that leaves my face a little white until it absorbs a minute or two later.
What I love about this product:
- Fantastic coverage. I cannot say enough about the coverage. From the beach to the pool, this sunscreen/moisturizer rocked Destin, FL.
What took some getting used to:
- The smell. It smells really herby and a lot like an Aveda hair salon. It took me a few days to get used to it, and now I don’t even notice a thing.
Now to my favorite product, the SPF 8 Lip Moisturizers. {The name just doesn’t do these little guys justice.}
What I love about this product:
- Options! Love the three-color option. I don’t wear lipstick EVER so am really enjoying this hint of tint. “Joy” is great for day wear. “Playful” I sometimes rock at work or in the evenings. “Naturally Clear” I reapply all day and night.
- Great feel.
- Great smell.
- SPF 8!
What took some getting used to:
- Don’t be discouraged if it takes you 71 cranks before the stick starts rising for your first use. You also have to apply a bit more pressure than you think you do. {Just ask my husband.}
- I find that “Naturally Clear” is a little drier than the other two sticks. It takes a few applications before you work off that top, drier section.
